Details of the new Call of Duty release have been confirmed and it has been revealed that the £300 ‘Dark Edition’ will include a real live soldier in special collectible packaging.

The soldier will be a fully working human being and can be used as a life-sized, fully poseable action figure, or as help around the house, or even as a means to combat minor insurgencies in the local area.

“This is our best collector’s edition yet,” confirmed Call of Duty release executive Stewart James.

“Having your own fully poseable real human soldier is going to be a big deal for our fans.

“Just his experience of real-life combat situations alone could be enough to give you the edge in multiplayer.”

Mr James was also keen to emphasize the collectible nature of the Dark Edition.

“Each one of these soldiers will be subtly different, so you may want to collect more than one Dark Edition.

“I mean, just ten Dark Editions would give you a pretty good elite squadron of soldiers that, with a little bit of planning, could be enough to get behind enemy lines and remove the government of a corrupt third-world country.

“Just like in the game itself!”

It is rumoured that EA will be watching the release of the Dark Edition closely as they plan to give away a football player with the Legend’s Edition of FIFA 21 next year.

Probably Shola Amiobi.
