Blizzard unveils new Diablo IV class – The IT Support Worker

Blizzard have revealed a surprise new class for Diablo IV – The IT Support Worker.

The IT Support Worker is a distance class who confuses the enemy with unnecessarily complicated explanations of minor IT issues and then deletes their accounts, leaving them powerless within the environment.

“It’s definitely not a class for beginners,” explained Stewart James, one of the game designers.

“But it is a very rich class. As you level up, you’ll be able to summon a small team of 1^st line IT Support who you can send out to soak up damage from the enemies while you just sit back and replenish your health with biscuits.

“You can manipulate the environment by laying cables across corridors and then leaving a printer in the middle of a corridor, just hidden round a corner for everyone to trip over.

“Finally, the top tier, most devastating power is to tell the enemies that you’ll definitely deal with their issue by the end of the day and then go home and wait for their will to live to simply drain away.”

Although complex, the class is designed to be fun from the start

“Absolutely, the first skill you receive is the ability to be really, really rude. That’s great fun, you’ve got these hordes of demons and whatnot and the IT Support Worker is just there shouting ‘I’m doing it’, ‘Whatever’, and ‘Stop phoning me, I’ll get to it as soon as I can.’

“It really is a great class!”

The IT Support Worker joins the existing Diablo IV classes – Insurance Claims Handler, Funk Band Bass Player, Hot Lover, Well-dressed man, and Home Secretary.
