Leading grumpy caped crusader Batman has spoken of his disappointment at not being asked to appear in new Joker movie.
“It’s just, you think Joker, you think Batman, I mean, you just do,” said Batman as he sat on top of a gargoyle on a 20-storey building in downtown Gotham for some reason.
“So, to not feature in the Joker’s new movie is disappointing, painful if I’m honest.”
He seemed at a loss to understand he absence.
“It doesn’t make sense. It just doesn’t, I mean what are they going to do? Have Joker do a load of crimes and then go – ‘well, that was easy, no one around here to stop me, might do some more crimes’ – it’s just not realistic, is it?”
It seems Batman would have considered it a basic common courtesy to ask him if he wanted to be in the film.
“Well, look, he was in two of my computer games, three if you include the one where he’s dead, and two of my films.
“I don’t really count the one from the sixties. You know, we were young, we were impressionable. We didn’t really know what we were getting into.
“All I’m saying is that it would have been nice to have been asked, that’s all.”
The comments from Batman has seen a statement issued from the caped crusader’s former ward and sidekick Robin, that reads simply – ‘Tell me about it.’
