An amateur sleuth claims to have uncovered a clue that could lead to the elusive location of newly added films on the amazon Prime interface.
“I definitely think I’m on to something, but I’ve got to admit it was more luck than judgement,” explained Stewart James, a normal man who just wants to use his Amazon Prime subscription to watch a new film.
“I was scrolling through a front page full of Indian tennis matches and adverts for things that aren’t on Amazon Prime and I noticed that if you scroll to the top, then it briefly flashes up a link to films.”
Although the link didn’t seem to consistently appear, Mr James was persistent and managed to click on the link and be taken to a page devoted entirely to films.
“It was weird. I was looking at Amazon Prime and it wasn’t just showing links to different seasons of The Boys and documentaries about mid-level Premiership teams.”
Sadly, even though Mr James had certainly made progress, and certainly got closer to finding the location of new films than any other living human being, ultimately, he was unsuccessful.
“No, I mean, it was definitely all films, but the categories were mad. ‘Films If You Like Cheese’ or ‘Films from January 1998’ or ‘Films Featuring Men Wearing Smart Hats.’ There was nothing that just said ‘New Films.’”
Mr James vowed to continue his investigations.
“I’m sure it’s there somewhere, it must be,” he said, with gritty determination.
“I just don’t know if I’m really intelligent enough to find it. If only Professor Stephen Hawking were still with us. I’m sure that if he really put is mind to it then he might have been able to unravel the secrets of the Amazon Prime interface.”
