Former co-stars Vin Diesel and The Rock have been spotted in a steamy clinch at a nightspot in fashionable Bel-air, fuelling suspicion that their long-running quarrel might, at last, be over.
“It was in Spatchcocks bar and grill,” explained Stewart James, who witnessed the stars’ canoodling.
“I was just there with my girlfriend getting a drink at the bar and, the thing with Spatchcocks is that it’s quite dark. It’s not dingy, but just discreet and it’s actually pretty romantic.
“I went to use the bathroom, and as I made my way round a corner my thigh bumped this solid mass of flesh. I went to apologise and I noticed that it was the Rock and he was with Vin Diesel and they looked both look really surprised and shocked. Their faces were pretty close together and Vin had his hands round The Rock’s fingers.
“I’m pretty sure they’d been making out.”
Vin Diesel and The Rock had been engaging in long-running beef since Diesel called The Rock a ‘nobber’ during filming of the eighth Fast and Furious film and the Rock responded by publicly claiming Diesel had a ‘smelly ass.’
“I don’t know man. From what I saw, these are two guys who are definitely into each other. They looked like they were a cocktail away from going home together.”
The news of possible rapprochement now gives hope that the tenth film in the Fast and Furious series will finally see the sexual tension between Dominic Toretto and Luke Hobbs give way to the full-blown romantic relationship that fans have been waiting for.
