Trump doubles down on threat to make Wakanda a US territory

New US president Donald Trump has reiterated his threat to make Wakanda a US territory. He even refused to rule out military action to achieve his aims.

“Wakanda is a great country. A very great country,” he said.

“But, when I speak to Wakandans, and I do a lot. I have very good friends who are Wakandans and they say, they say -‘please. President Trump. Please, we want to join with America’ and I have to say, I agree with them. America and Wakanda together would be strong. Very strong. Very great.”

However, experts have cast doubt on Trump’s ability to colonise Wakanda by diplomacy or force

“Although, on paper, America probably has the military strength to subjugate Wakanda,” said Stewart James, a leading expert in the American military.

“In practical terms, it’s impossible because Wakanda is fictitious. It is an imaginary realm where superheroes live and, therefore, regardless of how impressive the modern American military is, it would simply not be possible for it to subjugate Wakanda and make it an American territory.”

However, despite revelations of Wakanda’s fictitious nature, the new President is refusing to back down

“Well, these people they say ‘oh no President Trump, you can’t get Wakanda, it doesn’t exist. They’re the same people who said I wouldn’t win a landslide victory and we all know what happened. We all know, and we know what will happen.”

It is thought that after conquering Wakanda, the president has his sights set next on Tatooine, then Freedonia and finally, Loompa land.
