Megalopolis: I had to supply 9 boxes of Coco Pops to Adam Driver EVERY day

A caterer has revealed that Adam Driver demanded nine boxes of Coco Pops every day whilst working on Francis Ford Coppola’s latest film Megalopolis.

“I mean, he was lovely and, you know, really good looking,” explained Stewart James, who runs Starscoff, one of the bigger Hollywood catering companies.

“But, for someone who played a Sith Lord, he really liked Coco Pops. I mean, he loved them. It was all he ate. Other people, Mr Coppola and Aubrey Plaza, they ate good healthy meals. Chicken  Forrestiere and Salmon en Croute and that, but whenever I asked Adam, he’d always say ‘just Coco Pops for me Stew.’

“I know he was playing Cesar, this future architect and, I don’t know, maybe he thought that future architects ate a lot of Coco Pops? And maybe he was preparing for the role? I don’t know.”

The Star Wars star insisted on the British version of the popular cereal.

“Oh god, yes. I tried to give him Cocoa Krispies once. You know? What they have in America? I thought he’d prefer them. He didn’t say anything, but the next day I found all nine boxes in the bin, or trashcan, as I suppose he’d say. He must have gone out and bought his own Coco Pops. That was just like him. Didn’t make a fuss, but just liked his Coco Pops. 

“I’ll make sure I’ve always got some if I work with Adam again.”
