Born with terrible bones made out of metal instead of bone, young Hugh was determined not to let that stop him from becoming a great musical performer. However, producers just laughed at him and told him his bones were too metal to be in musicals. Instead, Hugh took on the role of a heroic mutant with metal bones and became so successful that he could knock down the old-fashioned wall of prejudice around people with metal bones singing and dancing. He’s now a successful musical performer and mutant.
