Wolverine marries a nice girl by singing at her, then he nearly gets off with another girl by singing at her, then everything burns down and he invents circuses by singing at absolutely everyone. There was clearly a lot of singing in 19th Century New York.

Trivia
The final song was originally set to be a cover of Slayer’s ‘Raining Blood’, but producers failed to secure the rights
The film is now canon as the origin story for Wolverine
A subplot in which Zac Efron’s character discovers that the film’s reality is actually a computer simulation and all of humankind is actually in suspended animation with their energy harvested by aliens was abandoned due to time constraints
Bloopers
In the famous This is Me scene, Wolverine accidentally stabs the bearded lady with his adamantine claws but, ever the trooper, she continues her song.
In the rousing ‘From Now On,’ Wolverine forgets the words to the second verse and appears to sing ‘hydro man pain, BB King leans’ instead of ‘I drank champagne with Kings and Queens.’ Although the correct lyric was dubbed in post-production, lip-readers will still see the discrepancy.
