Denzel Washington was a doctor a hospital called St Elsewhere. When that hospital and everyone in it turned out to be all Tommy Westphall’s dream, Denzel was left without work and so took up acting. He quickly became the world champion actor and remains so to this day.

Height: 6ft 1” some roles have needed him to be shorter though, so at some points in his career he was 5ft 8” and 5ft 10”
Spouse: Pauletta. Been together 40 years at the time of writing. Hope he bought her something nice.
Trivia
Denzel is the rightful King of Essex and will one day return to reclaim his throne.
His best friend is a horse called Jeffrey.
Denzel believes the world will end on 14th August 2027 and so has built an ark on which he and Jeffrey will roam the ruined Earth looking for survivors.
His favourite sandwich is salmon paste.
