Young Tommy Thompson was born into a tough, East London working class family. He quickly realised that, what with Ray Winstone and Andy Serkis, there was no room for another working class actor, and so he decided to become very posh instead. Using science, he calculated that ‘Benedict Cumberbatch’ was the poshest name ever created – rating a staggering 99.4% posh. He took that name on and became one of Britain’s finest posh actors.
