New ‘Assassin’s Creed: Line Manager’ to feature quest for fabled timesheet of the 1st Assassin

A new Assassin’s Creed game has been announced. Assassin’s Creed: Line Manager will task the player with a quest to retrieve the fabled timesheet of the 1^st Assassin.

It is the first time the series has explored the world of assassin middle-management.

“It’s a different perspective on history,” explained producer Kelly Grace.

“I mean, yes, the on-the-ground battle against the templars that assassins fight is vitally important. But what of the people who form the project teams that manage the assassins’ various adventures, who organise weekly catch-up meetings with the assassins to check up on progress, and, most importantly of all, make sure that the assassins’ time is recorded in a clear and concise manner?

“The line managers – and it’s their world we explore in this new game.”

The game begins simply with a quest to send out an email once a week to make sure assassins complete their timesheets in a timely fashion.

After several weeks of doing this, someone from upper management sends an email asking to take a look at the timesheet of the 1^st Assassin, and so begins the line-manager’s quest to track that down.

“It’s very exciting,” continued Grace.

“You’ll search ancient network drives, visit the vast and historic paper filing system, and find the strength to conquer the terrifying Spreadsheet of Time.

“All whilst remembering to collate a weekly summary of project hours, and updating the quarterly projections.”

Assassin’s Creed: Line Manager will be released in time for the holidays, and will be followed with DLC – Assassin’s Creed: Human Resources – that will explore the exciting world of managing the assassins’ payroll and organising regular assassin appraisals.
