New adaptation of the Argos catalogue due next year

Following the success of adaptations of Harry Potter and Middle Earth books, another hugely popular book is being made into a film – the Argos catalogue.

The Argos catalogue, a book containing all the products stocked by Argos, is one of the most casually flicked through books in Great Britain.

Although not as well-known across the world, it is expected that the highly visual nature of book should see it easily translate to other territories.

“This is going to be huge,” said producer Jenny Winslet.

“More people flick through the Argos catalogue whilst sat on the toilet than any other book.”

“Which is great, but what if you want to enjoy the catalogue with friends. It’s not always convenient for other people to join you on the toilet, so we’re going to take it out of the bathroom.”

“Hell, we’re going to take away the need to flick through it. We’re going to do that for you. Which is just awesome”

It is expected that, like the Hobbit, the book will be too much for one film and so will be split into three, with antimacassars to hamster cages due out for Christmas next year, interrogation lamps to octopuses the following Christmas and finally pies to zoo equipment in three years time.

These will be followed by extended DVD editions featuring all Summer and Winter sales information from the next three years.
