James Cameron confirms Avatar 2 will feature giant, fire-breathing robot-Sigourney Weaver

In a new update, Avatar 2 director James Cameron has confirmed that the sequel will feature the long-rumoured giant, fire-breathing robot-Sigourney Weaver.

In the short video, Cameron explained how the robot-Sigourney Weaver came about.

“Okay, so Sigourney’s character Grace dies in the first picture, okay? Okay. So, what happens is that there’s a race of space-robots who live in tunnels under the surface of Pandora who we haven’t seen yet.

“While the RDA and Na’vi are doing all their fighting, what we don’t see in the first film is that the space-robots come out of their tunnels and steal Grace’s body to harvest her intellect.

“They attempt to fuse Grace’s human DNA with their microchips to create a race of hyper-intelligent space-robots who can conquer the planet and make the innocent Na’vi their slaves. It’s a metaphor for something-or-other.

“Thing is, human DNA and microchips aren’t compatible and so they fuse together to make this fire-breathing robot-Sigourney Weaver that grows to be a giant because of robotic evolution.”

He went on to explain how the robot-Sigourney Weaver would impact the story of the sequels.

“The giant fire-breathing robot-Sigourney Weaver will become the primary antagonist for the new films, and the Na’vi and RDA are going to have to put aside their differences and work together if they’re going to have any hope of defeating it.

“That’s a metaphor for something else.”

It is also understood that when the sequels are released, sometime in 2089, there will be a McDonalds tie-in that will see all Happy Meals come with a free giant, fire-breathing robot-Sigourney Weaver.

If the rumoured dimensions of the giant robot are correct, the Happy Meal boxes will be the largest since the infamous Happy-Meal tie-in with Jack the Giant Slayer in 2013.
