Rumour: Is GTA6 really set in the 1950s with Fonzie as the main character?

GTA6 is set to become the biggest entertainment launch in history later this year, but what do we actually know about it? Very little.

Perhaps the most intriguing rumour is that it will be set in the 1950s and will have Fonzie as the main character.

“It’s going to be set in Al’s Diner. You’re Fonzie and you have to go out and do a bunch of crimes to pay back the Cunningham family, who let you live in the attic,” explained a man on the internet who may or may not have been drinking.

However, that’s not the only theory. One source claims that it will be set in the animal kingdom.

“They did everything that it was possible to do with human crime in GTAV, so now they’re going on to animal crime,” explained a man who regularly walks past the Rockstar offices.

“You’ll be this horse, and you have to go round the farmyard stealing bits of food off the other animals and setting up a lap dancing stable with sheep and launching heists on other farms.”

Another rumour suggests it’s going to be set four thousand years in the future.

“I’ve heard that you’ll be playing this abstract floating consciousness,” said a man who remembers playing GTA:Vice City. 

“You live with all the other abstract floating consciousnesses in a big pool of futuristic space-goo but you decide to get more futuristic space-goo than everyone else, so you do loads of future-space crimes and try and become the most powerful abstract floating consciousness in the all the space-goo.”

Unfortunately, with other rumours claiming that it’ll be set in medieval England, or in the US government, or even that the main character will be a woman, it seems that when it comes to GTA6, we simply don’t know what’s going to happen.
