Robot who lives in the future travels back to 1984 to kill ladies, get some good hairspray and pick up some Duran Duran tapes. Sarah Connor avoids getting killed by having enormous hair and ends up having sex with her son’s best friend who ordered him to go back in time and have sex with his mum to save the world.

Over 30 robotic Arnold Schwarzeneggers have been constructed for the franchise. They all now live together on a commune in North Dakota.

The thumbs up gesture, used to indicate satisfaction or approval, was invented by ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day’ when the Terminator dies. It is now used throughout societies all over the world.

The future, where the Terminator lives, is slowly turning into the past, yet no one appears to be doing anything.

The Terminator’s real name is Geoff. As seen as the credits of the first film.

Bloopers

The Terminator travels back through time and appears in a car park despite time travel not actually being possible.

In the scene in which Terminator shoots up the police station, he is briefly replaced by Coronation Street star Bill Roache. Bill was originally set to play Terminator and some of his test footage got mixed in with the final cut.
