FIFA 22 Special Limited Collectors Edition includes Bolton defender Declan John

Details of the different editions of the latest entry in the FIFA series have been released. There will be a Standard Edition, an Ultimate Edition, and a FIFA 22 Special Limited Collectors Edition, which will include the game itself, several in-game bonuses and the Bolton defender Declan John.

Declan John is a fully working footballer and human being, he will come with a special presentation plinth for display, but he can also be used for everyday activities such as popping to the shop, doing the hoovering, or going for a kick about down the park.

“Yeah, brilliant, I’d definitely buy that version,” said FIFA fan Stewart Rampton.

“Having my own fully working Bolton Defender? That’d be amazing. I’d absolutely love that.

“I know there are some people, collectors and that, they’d just keep Declan John in its wrapping, all pristine and then put it on eBay or something. But I think that’s missing the point, if you’ve got a Bolton defender of your own, you want to take him out and play with him.

“I’d probably keep him on display in the front room, next to the telly. But, you know, I’d take him out in the evening and have him do keepie-uppies, or run up and down the street.

“I’d definitely take him down the pub. Imagine all the girls you’d be able to pull if you had your very own Declan John?”

It isn’t the first time the FIFA series has offered a prestige edition.

“With FIFA 16, we gave included Juan Mata’s used jockstrap and in FIFA 12, there was a set of FIFA regulation goalposts,” said FIFA representative Kelly Bottomdrawer.

“But including actual Declan John? I think it’s fair to say this  is the most exciting edition of FIFA that we’ve ever done.”

The FIFA 22 Special Limited Collectors Edition will retail at £270,069.99 and will have a limited production run of 1.
