Facebook has become so dominated by pictures of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker on those steps that it will be introducing a separate timeline specifically for instances of that picture.
Currently it is estimated that two out of every three posts on Facebook is of Joker on those steps, and users are finding it increasingly difficult to see pictures of their brother-in-law’s new conservatory.
“It is getting a bit mad,” explained Facebook fan Kelly Grace.
“I popped to the loo earlier to see what Mum had for her tea last night and I had to spend over an hour scrolling past pictures of Joker on those steps.
“My line-manager came in to see if I was alright.
“I think someone should do something.”
Happily, Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg was already aware of the problem because he is far more brainy than the likes of you.
“Using my brain, I calculated that 57.4% of Facebook posts are currently pictures of Joker on those steps and that is a ratio we simply haven’t seen since 2011 when 61.9% of all Facebook posts were Farmville requests for a cow.
“As such I will immediately be introducing a second Facebook timeline solely to house those pictures of Joker on those steps.
“So, if you want to check to see that you are still more successful that your ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend, then use the current timeline, but if you want to see pictures of Joker on those steps then you use the new timeline.”
The new timeline for pictures of Joker on those steps will be called the Joker-on-those-steps timeline and will available in the same place as the blue-gold dress timeline.
