Daniel Craig, better known to millions of people as James Bond, has definitely said that ‘Woman are rubbish and they smell.’
He made the statement in an interview which we are planning to read at some point.
He was asked if the next James Bond should be a woman.
“A woman? What? Are you mental? That’s mental,” he definitely responded.
“A woman would be all like ‘ooo, I like ponies and make-up and boys and I can’t save the world because I might break a nail. Ooo, look at my new dress. I’m so pretty.’
“Then she’d probably start crying because the boy that she fancied actually fancied someone else.”
He went on to confirm that being an international super-spy was actually a job for a man.
“You’ve got to be really tough and have big muscles for duffing up all the baddies when you’re a super spy. You can’t be all dainty and worried about getting your new hairdo all messed up.
“And you’ve got to be able to work complicated gadgets like a watch with a microwave oven in or a horse that’s really a car and a woman would just be like ‘I can’t work this, it’s stupid, I’m going to watch all the hunky men on Love Island instead’ and then the bad guys would end up taking over the world with their robot-sharks.”
The actual quote from the interview with Daniel Craig was
“There should simply be better parts for women and actors of colour. Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?”
But it seems very clear that what he *meant* was “Women are rubbish and they smell.”
