Fans of the hard-hitting Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri were excited by the news that a new Lego collection based on the film will be in shops in time for Christmas.
The sets will all feature key scenes from the film and there will even be a charming mini figure keyring of the Francis McDormand character that really captures the emotional complexity of Mildred Hayes by putting a wavy black line where her mouth should be.
“We’re thrilled about this exciting new Lego line,” said Larry Lego of Lego.
“All the sets are terrific, but I think my particular favourite is the burning police station, with its little burning racist deputy minifigure.
“It really captures a harrowing moment in film in a way that’s tremendous fun for all the family.
The iconic red billboards will also have their own set.
“Oh sure, we couldn’t do a Lego Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri set without the actual billboards.
“Be aware though that this set does come with adhesive stickers that allow you to recreate the messages on the billboards, so you may need some help from a responsible adult to complete it.”
The Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri lego will be out later this year alongside Phantom Thread and The Brutalist sets and, surprisingly, a Fifty Shades Freed set.
Although, that, like the film, is mainly for Mum.
