Cillian was born in Ireland in the North-west of England. His interest in acting began after he starred in his junior school’s multi-million dollar stage adaptation of The Exorcist in which he played Father Merrin. He is best known for his work wearing a nice hat in Peaky Blinders and has subsequently gone on to wear another nice hat on Oppenheimer.
