The Wolf of Wall Street

Ha ha! Look! This hilarious scumbag is all rich and hilarious. Four thousand hour long epic about the world’s most obnoxious man. He does a hedge fund and because his hedge is all nice and funded he can have loads of sex with prostitutes and do drugs. That’s it. That’s your 3-hour-long film. You’d be better off watching Wall Street twice. Also, the bit where he drives his car on drugs goes on too long and isn’t funny.

Trivia

After the film was completed, Scorsese was embarrassed to find it contained no wolves and so inserted the post-credit sequence of a wolf-pack in the Rockies.

The bottom from which Leonardo DiCaprio sniffs cocaine was played by chameleonic actor Christian Bale.

The film’s dialogue was largely improvised, which explains the ten-minute scene featuring Jonah Hill explaining the history of toy-making in the German state of Baden-Württemberg

Margot Robbie doesn’t preform any of her nude scenes. Instead, scenes were retrieved from 80s sex-comedy classic Porkys and Robbie’s head was superimposed on them to make it appear as if she were naked.

Bloopers

When Teresa discovers Jordan’s affair with Naomi, she gets out of the limousine and is briefly scene standing in front of the Millenium Falcon on the Ice Planet of Hoth.

Quotes

“Money, Money, Money. It’s a rich man’s world.”
