Keifer Sutherland and Bill or Ted off of Bill and Ted are groovy vampires who go about on motorcycles and use improbable amounts of hair gel. Jason Patric plays the world’s grumpiest (and oldest) teenager who gets vampired and Cory Haim tries to unvampire him. Good tunes, good top-off saxophone bloke.

Trivia
The saxophone guy with no top on is none-other than then Foreign Secretary Sir Geoffrey Howe
After spending months learning how to transform into a bat, Keifer Sutherland was disappointed to learn that no bat-transformation scene would be shown on film
The Echo and the Bunnymen cover of The Doors ‘People are Strange’ was a last-minute replacement for the originally planned Five Star cover of ‘Riders on the Storm’
A planned sequel would have seen the Lost Boys return and set up a frozen-yoghurt stall on the beach to try and make up for years of eating people. Sadly, the idea was abandoned.
Bloopers
In an early scene, Bill or Ted off of Bill and Ted can be seen dressed up as a Frankenstein instead of a vampire.
The boardwalk scenes were filmed on Southend pier in Essex and in several scenes show Peter Pan’s Playground in the background
