Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

After getting a fantastic blow-wave, Robin Hood of Nottingham, California, escapes from his prison in evil Foreignland. He lands in Sussex and walks to Nottingham by way of Hadrian’s Wall. After getting cross about who’s tree it is, he forms a terrorist cell to torment and overthrow the rightful Sherriff of Nottingham. Lady Marion gets involved after seeing Robin’s bottom and everyone is verrie merrie indeed.

Trivia

Sadly, that is not Kevin Costner’s naked bottom, it belongs to body-double and former Chancellor of the Exchequer Sir Geoffrey Howe

Locations for the film, set in Nottingham, include The Great Wall of China, the Serengeti plains, the Moon, and the bottom of the ocean

Robin Hood was actually an insurance claims handler who died in 1938

Bryan Adams’ ‘Everything I Do’, from the film’s soundtrack, has remained at Number One since June 1991, a total of 32 years! (Unless you’re reading this next year, in which case 33 years, and so on)

Bloopers

Robin regularly uses a bow and arrow to shoot things, but a gun would be a more accurate and practical weapon

Quotes

“…And Cancel Christmas!”

“That is a typical ‘woke’ attitude, trying to erase British traditions. It’s just not on”
